So I heard they told Larry he could not come back into the hospital without a tie on.

So Larry ran back to his car, saw he didn't have a tie in there, so grabbed his jumper cables and made a half assed attempt to do a Windsor around his neck.

He walked in and asked "is this okay?"

The staff lady said sure "as long as you don't start something"

Duncan drove 140 miles one way to be there when I got out of surgery...I was totally wasted on the anethstetia (spelling?) and I can't remember everything that happened, or what was said, but I hope that I thanked you properly for being there

after my stem cell transplant, people told me I looked good: I replied "I would rather be seen than viewed."

No matter how much I puked in the parking garage, when I went into the room to get Chemo with 25 other people, I would say: Bob's here, let's get this party started, Who brought the chocolate? Lotta nurses came and hugged me. One old raisin, looked up, and said "Who the Hell is Bob" I heard him, and I said "I am the guy that was suppose to die 5 years ago"
He just said "O." IT was funny has heck, Or maybe you had to be there.
But I did get a LOT of chocolate from the staff !!!

Larry, I know you remember seeing Duncan and were a bit out of it on anesthesia; but, we ALL rode that 140 miles with Duncan(yeah, it was a bit tight and somebody kept hollering about a pee stop!) in spirit and we were also there, in spirit, with him to see you... you just don't remember seeing all of us because of the drugs.
Believe me, every dadgum one of us was along for the ride and we are all grateful to Duncan for letting us ride along.
Thanks for the update... we are "patiently waiting" for door number 1 but we are with you even if they somehow find a door number 27! We ain't giving up or giving in on getting your sorry... excuse me, your fine self back on the HAMB.
More kisses to the nurses and the sister and don't forget to pet the cat, sis!
