Hey Lost Angel,,,some your photos have a familiar background !

  2. The black and whites are from the old Masten ave Armory shows in the 60's. Some of the others are from the Olean Street Masters shows in the late 70's, early 80's. -MIKE:cool:

  4. I would own that Buick right now....and then immediately get in it and drive it to work. :) Definitely in my all time top 10.

Marcus Edell bought the Joe Roth 59 Impala. One of these days it would be kool to own a Kustom that was built around this time period. Below are some of the pics from then and know.

Does this count? My 1962 Chrysler 300 custom project, her name is Lolita, named after the movie from 1962, and I was also born in 1962. I thought, how cool to build a top of the car from that era.

Had my friend Andrea, airbrush a favorite Vargas pin up girl to the firewall, which was smoothed, using the front bed piece from a 63 Chevrolet truck, cut down.

Love the "bubble top" Chrysler. Nice job on the firewall as well. Hope to see more on this one.

The wheels say G-machine more than kustom.

I like it as an OT ride, but it doesn't really fit on this thread.

To each their own right, she has 14 inch white walls on her for rollers now, so if it's just the wheels that excludes it from being a custom, problem solved lol!

I like to bundle it all up as a resto rod, pro touring, custom, with a dash of rock and roll, dipped in sexy as hell!

The wheels can be changed out at any time. Matter of fact, I may show the 14s on it at some shows, and the custom wheels on it at others, simple fix

Right now I'm in dire need of sponsorship, or a winning lottery ticket. I'm just a painter in a body shop, and it has taken me 6 years to get this far.

    Mickey,
You would need a support vehicle just to carry the angel hair. LOL

Love those '62 Chryslers! Do you have a build thread on the HAMB? Post the traditional-friendly stuff so we can follow along!

Found a few. I must have thrown a lot away when I moved.
I remember seeing pictures of the 39 Ford in an article on the Hartford Conn. custom auto show in one of the little page magazines. It was restored by Don Low (sp) and debuted at the KKOA show in Springfield Ill.
