I have no idea what "Folkstone Gray" looks like or who owns this bitchin truck but I loved eit enough to save pictures of it. Hope this helps. If you DO know the name of it (anyone) I'd love to know. Please post it.
This is a lot closer to the true colors. Camera, lighting, and a lot of different things affect the true colors in a picture for sure. I'm still leaning toward the Jeep "Anvil" Gray color. Actually ordered up a pint from the Paint Guru to do some samples with.
OK, not a period Hot Rod, but it's got a hot rod motor, and looks as good as some grey trucks I've seen
Just picked up this gem. Same Gray sealer for the last 35 plus years. It may go shiny someday, but I'm I no hurry. .
When I finished the fenders I just cleared them with satin and kind of liked the two tone look, satin and shiny
Posted a pic earlier of my A just back from painting and just the body on a dolly. Here it is closer to finished, just the hood still to paint. Looks light gray in sun and changes to more of a green tint in the shade. Single stage satin BESA paint color we call Elkhart SAGE. Canuck
