    Sounds good.
I get caught up in links to links and I guess sooner or later our paths will cross. A watermark will be good.

  2. I don't see what the problem is. I don't contribute to this thread just consume its contents. I've never had a problem seeing duplicates. If I don't remember the picture appearing before, then it's new to me, if I do remember it, I can just roll right past it. Thanks to all.

The Good Old Days back when you bought a new ( or used) car , and took pictures of it because it looked new, different, exciting visually. Something you were proud to own and be seen driving in.

Cool guy, cool car. Is it a Cadillac V8 under the hood of the ol' '37?
    Great photo...

I've had the same ISP since 1996. They let me have a 'Home' or 'Vanity' page. They have decided to delete it Dec. 1,2015. Might as well, everybodies got Facebook anyway. http://people.consolidated.net/willy/ is the address for it. It can also be found by googling 'hillbilly kaiser'. Thought you guys might want to see it before it's flushed by Consolidated. Mainly has pix of my cars on it, also the links on it to the other pages don't work, ISP deleted those years ago.

Its no fun looking at the new cars these days since they all look alike and not enough differences between last year.

I really like these old color photos of cars parked in natural areas - thanks for posting, swi!

Yup, that "cool guy" is yours truly at age 16 in Northern New Jersey, about 1961. I turn 71 in a few days.

The 37 Dodge had a Cadillac engine, Olds Hydro transmission and Ford rear axle assembly. I wish that I still had it.

I was lucky that a neighborhood buddy was out scouting with his new camera. I never had enough sense to take pictures of my early cars. I am grateful to him for the memory.

    Amazing!
Now I finally believe in the magic of the WWWeb!
Let me congratulate you, Sir! Obviously you've had a great time as a kid.
I was born an year after the photo was taken. Just turned 53. When I was kid here up north all we got to play with were Fiats, Simcas & Renaults with a motor <1000cc (50-60 cu-in)!!! Not much to brag about...

The coupe must have been a fast one with the Caddy V8?
Looking closer, you've also customized the Dodge with a Chevrolet nose clip?
    p.s.
Congrats for the sharp hair cut, too... ....back then.
    p.p.s.
My haircut was not much then. Below photo must be ca. 1965. Car is brittish Triumph Clubman.[IMG]
