Technical Fuel tank sight glass ideas.

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 31Vicky with a hemi, Nov 24, 2015.

  1. Would polycarbonate tubing hold up for sight gauge...if so , seems to me it would be a bit safer than glass..
    Just a thought

Hmmm, it seems if you upload a video from FB you get all the daft comments too.

I don't steal from anybody, but this has me really tempted. You mind if I abscond with that idea? (No, I won't claim it as my own.)

    By all means, you're welcome.

  6. How about the whole tank as a sight glass? Found this on the ever-so-awesome Kustomrama site on an obvious show truck. Could NOT be more impractical on a street car, but might be cool to build once we come up with transparent aluminum... o_O
