    These old air field drag strips were where we raced. Very cool, no big budgets just gear heads have n fun!
     

  5. looks to be in the early 1960,s the newest car is the 63 chevy.

    always have loved that pic, good choice. Minor gufaw , that 390 would be an FE ; unless it was one hellava stroked 312! Would really like to see more of this one. EDIT: D-Russ you type quicker than I do...

    Very cool vicky and chevy gasser. Appears to be built along the same lines. Love the americans and whitewalls.
     
  10. As I was reading the story, I'm going back and forth from the story to the picture... the whole time thinking "All this mention of detail and there's a fucking ROCKET in the picture and he hasn't said SHIT about it!!!"
