So you are gonna go more like Dennis lasy 32 build?
No front fenders, early SBC and the classic look. But with Lincoln drums and steelies.

But an early 283 or 301 would be awesome. Painted and dressed too look factory fresh.
But a half hood wouldn't hurt it eighter.
And a factory ford color from a early to mid sixty ford car. Maybe red or maroon. Cream or white for firewall and rims.

I have the stuff to that, but it can be a bit of a budget buster. And man, the price of WCFB cores has gone NUTS in the last year!!!
Just so everyone knows, the intake I posted isn't Z/28, Its '61/'62 corvette 327.

Put the dummy clutch pedal where your left foot could otherwise rest comfortably!

Ok don't let your head explode but I'm liking your plan for your RPU and the nerf bars and the two eight three... right on. I also like the frame choice it is going to rule
Now all you need is a roll bar so you can do the big entry.

Dick Bennett 27 rp. Man, I have been in love with this car for a few years now. It was featured in Hot Rod sometime in '57, IIRC...Man, Larry you could do a LOT worse than borrow ideas from this car! Man, what a peach.

Stick with your current frame plan Larry, its only right to pay a knod to the original car. I like it.

What made me think to post those photos are all the similarities between that car and yours. Replace the frame with one like your car had (which had similar depth to the '32 rails) and swap the trailer fenders for late T and you're almost there.

Larry if you need an engine a friend of mine has a 62 Impala with 283 and glide. He is wanting to sell motor and trans complete with gen. You can drive the car if you want. Oh yea it has 45000 original mines but needs rebuilt.

Might I suggest something like a 31 Chevy frame for the rails , It would be model A ish and 32 ish and 32 ish frame horns and kickup 5" tall so a little beefier than model A but smaller than 32..

. Something they might have done in the day... Like Essex rails we always hear about on the 3 springers

you'll need a haircut and dye to pull off that look !
But seriously, I believe that the rawness of the '50s look is the best way to go, and the right way for that car. Plenty of 27 ts on '32 rails. All the best with it and have fun !

Now that you'r ditching the '32 frame idea I guess there wouldn't be any point in posting pictures of how I built the one under my old T.

Still, do the floor mods. They're universal!

Use the 32 frame, it gives the "T" body a great profile! My .02

I'd be VERY interested to see your build pics Dennis...I like the way you put stuff together. I'm still in the planning stage of the game. I know all the neat parts I'm going to need and am gathering them all together, I just keep yo-yoing on which frame to use. I want to see your steering setup too.

  29. So... I like this but am now confused, again. It's the '55 sedan all over...... So now it's "SanswindowsLarry" ?? "No windowLarry"?
