We're just a couple weeks away from the Eagle Field Hot Rod Gathering / KBK Fall Finish weekend October 3rd and 4th. Attractions and appearances are still shaping up with Saturday's 73 and earlier Flag Start festivities that include honoring our Special Guest Bob Arana. Bob is still racing the same '50 Chevrolet Business Coupe he started with in 1960 at many of the popular California Tracks like Half Moon Bay, Redwood City, Fremont, Vacaville, Salinas, and many others, running the Gasser Classes with a 6 cylinder combination. Currently Bob has a "Poked and Stroked" 261 cubic inch Chevrolet that is still giving Racers hell at the ANRA events held at Famoso finishing second in points for the year 2014 in the popular Sportsman Category.
Also scheduled to appear on Saturday is the return of Jeff Ataimian's Beast Jet Dragster and the side by side exhibition of Bobby Hansen (the original Wynns Spoiler Dragster) and Andi Humenik in their Front Engine Top Fuel (NITRO) Dragsters, PLUS they will Fire Em UP in front of the Hangar around 8pm to Kickoff the Saturday Night Party in the Historic Eagle Field Hangar. There will be a Dinner and Beverages available from our Dos Palos LIONS Club friends and a Local Band on the Stage for Dancing and entertainment.
This will only be a small portion of the action as the BUZZ is there are Gassers who have never attended Eagle Field planning on making Trip, plus Mini Bikes, Dragsters, Muscle Cars, Hot Rods, and more........many of which you won't see Race ANYWHERE ELSE in California!
After a short nights rest we get up early and set up the Tree and electronics for the Sunday KBK Fall Finish Race. All Saturday Cars are welcome PLUS we open the lanes up to ALL YEARS of American Cars to a FULL DAY of Run What Cha Brung Drag Racing PLUS the two Popular Quick 8 Doorslammer and Street Slammer Categories will be contested!

well, it's over. been a couple days. where's the videos? where's the pictures? I missed most of the racing on Saturday other than what I saw from the sidelines after we pushed my comet off the line. Got it sorted out on Sunday though.
