I will put it on my calendar and bring the 409 to give the track announcer something to talk about again.

  2. website and flyers say 1965 and older, ...I think they get the track to themselves...they are putting the hot rods/customs that want to show but not race in the pit area somewhere...

  3. ....ok, got some info on the swapmeet;...it will be in the same location at the track as it was during the Meltdown,...once you pay your entry fee at the gate the swapmeet is free to set up and sell, whatever room you need for your stuff. Bring your goodies, a lot of stuff moved during the Meltdown event.
Sorry,... I don't know what the entry fee is for racers or spectators,...anybody have any info?

We are working on planning the trip.
Thinking about stopping at St Louis on the way home for the Black Sunday Drags for some more laps with the 409 if there is anything left after Byron.
Anyone heading home that way and want to stop there also?

One week to go. Getting my 55 ready, and it sounds like my older brother will be bringing his 57 BelAir up from Washington ILL. Not sure about my nephew and his 55 150 sedan.
