    Zero comments???

Is it because perfection is hard to describe in words?

    A picture is worth a 1000 words,,,,,

    Especially by Tom Davidson!

One pass with a missed shift and still ran 13s at over 90.

  7. Car is bitchin'. G.B. reference cracks me up. Ryan how deep are you ... cultured ? Steve Miller Band samples should ring bells with that "hummin'". A Texas reference, and ... maybe a Keith Tardel influence beyond just bitchin' builds. Haha. This will be so over so many heads, I love it !!!

    That coupe is perfect.

  8. .... "Gangster of Love"? Sorry, can't help it. :) Nevermind.

I'm pretty sure this care left everyone in awe in Joplin that weekend. I know I couldn't stop checking it out.

    That's what I thought, Jim.

I've considered the Prufer Coupe a cop shop final.jpg definitive rod since I took this in San Jose in '84. I am partial to the concept and profile of both.

I looked up this shot, thinking the two were similar, but they are actually quite different. I would love to see them side by side. Adam's coupe seems to be much smaller. I can't pick a favorite.

One detail I failed to represent was the perfect manner in which the stock lower edge of the hood swept up and perfectly skirted over the frame rail. Adam told me that defined the profile of the rest of the build from the way the car aligned with it. He is a very young man, this is his second rod and he really understands how to set a profile. Plus he lives twenty miles from the podunk northern Missouri farm town where I was born!

Resembles an old " East Coast" build, but I doubt any of 'em were this nice. Love the on track shot, can you say TORQUE!! Please tell us someone has video of the track pass.

  16. I checked this coupe out several times over that weekend. Proportions are spot on.

  17. Adam's car hands down!!! ( whatever that means)

That one stood out in every group shot I saw, and all the return road photos have been awesome. It's great to see both of those things featured here

Even the most inebriated guests in the hotel parking lot stopped to stare at that car. As great as it is in the pictures, it is far more bitchn in person.

    And fast too....

Whoo boy, those that didn't open up the blog missed the whole show. What a great car and I'd say high honor of the day to have Tom Davison with no frigging D in the middle do a photo shoot of it.

Well now I know what sounded so nasty! 427 cubes of FE motor, SWEET!

  22. The full hood and the dual 4's poking through is what puts this car over the top for me.. So rad. Most guys would've went hoodless, and it would've looked fine. But that extra detail.. mmmm boy!

  27. Adam's coupe stopped us in our tracks at the hotel and he was nice enough to chat about it with us and even pop the hood. He did a beautiful job and it sounded amazing!

  28. beautiful and perfect stance on the coupe.

  29. Besides the Great stance and proportions it has good possibilities on the track.

I don't know what his 60 foot times were but with a Missed shift and a 13 sec. e.t. @ 90 mph... me thinks he easily could run mid to low 11's possibly high 10's at a Buck and a quarter.
