Yeah I bought it like a month ago I guess he had traded a Tahoe for it ! I will post up some more pics soon , I'm waiting on some parts !
I had a hard time deciding on the lens on the left that came with the French kit or the 50 Pontiac ones (I ended up going with the pontiac ones ) I have to down load pics from my camera later of the install !
Without the center 'dagmar', you'll be surprised how many guys will ask you what the grille is... Love those 'cleaned off' '54 grilles!
Still need to finish the other side hope to be able to work on then in a day or so !! I had a few more pics but they got lost on my camera !!
I got the lights welded up just have to do a little body work and wire them up !! Also switched to flipper caps !

So my buddy hooked me up with the parts I need to build my grill surround ( hope I can pick it up in the next few days )
Chuck DeWitt's Barris-built '52 wagon featured a similar treatment, with a mesh grille. Yet another treatment. (Pictures from Kustomrama.) BTW, the lid from a paint can might prove the perfect radius for your hood corners. Check it out.
