Not much work this weekend the little lady didn't work. But I managed to sneak in the garage a little and start on the pedals. I still have a lot of work to do but this is a good start. I think these are going to need to be chromed.

Finished the pedal assembly. At first I didn't think the clutch master had enough travel but after some reading i have more than enough I'll add a hard stop soon.

Then I played around I cleaned the paint off my scoop. Turns out if was polished at some time so that will save me some money.

I drove down to Indy to pick up some wheels I'll post pictures tomorrow.
After that I went to the Nhra qualifying. I can still smell the nitro.
I wish I could run my car on it.

Has original Michelin radial x tires on them that aren't dry rotted. Look at the made in France!

Not much work this weekend. Went to the hunnert drags on Saturday was nice to see done cars run since I missed the meltdown. Would've been a good time for test and tune. I did get the door lined up better and started seeing what was needed to do the rockers next weekend.

I also got some new wheels for the car.

Got a little time in today. This sets me up good for Saturday. I got the doors braced up and ready to cut the outer rockers out. I also started to clean up the seat cross me ever I cut out today. It's fun cleaning off a 1/4 of under coating.

This is putting me one step closer to getting the floor in then the seat in so I can sit in the car and make noises.

After getting the rear wheels I had to find some fronts.
American racing lemans. They are ford pattern no big deal though.
I'll redrill my hubs for mock up and the brakes I plan on running are dual pattern.
I did some restoration based on some info from shakey puddin
    ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1442795789.125573.jpg
There was a screw stuck in one of the holes so I made a dam out of grease and let Gibbs soak in
    ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1442795885.341486.jpg
After that I attempted to weld a screw to what was left that failed but I think that little bit of heat helped free the screw up so vice grips finished it off.
    Next I blasted the wheels
    ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1442796101.842420.jpg
I then used mag wheel etching cleaner to darken them up.
    ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1442796217.267331.jpg
They are a little splotchy but should even out with time. I'll get new caps.

I also started on the drivers rocker
    ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1442796299.132890.jpg
Here's the inside I definitely don't feel bad for replacing these anymore.

Started fitting the rocker it's pretty close.

Haha it's only one I still need to do the other side. I bought a harbor freight spot welder it's 200 but it will make for quick work once I get to the inner rockers and floor.

It's an eagle one product. I'm not sure what it will do on aluminum. It works good for magnesium. It's called eagle one mag etching cleaner.

Not much work on the car, but got the blue streaks taken off the rims. Then I cleaned the wheels off and soaked them with Gibbs.
Can't wait to put these on the car. I might try for next weekend we will see.

Had a good weekend. Got the new front wheels on. I was having tube problems with the rear wheels so I couldn't roll the car outside that sucked, but I'll order new tubes this week. I also painted the headlights blue and it completely changed the look of the car.

    ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1444007885.308267.jpg
I also got the drivers side rocker in.
    ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1444007917.675778.jpg
    ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1444007937.134982.jpg
Also found a few more spots of cancer. One in front of the drivers wheel that I knew about, but was going to wait until I paint the car to fix, but I'm going to fix it now.
    ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1444008008.700104.jpg
And then one on in front of the passenger wheel well where the inner rocker attaches.
    ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1444008073.724488.jpg
Hopefully that will be the end of the bleeding.

Haha when I read your comment I did laugh out loud. I hope I make it this year too I've been trying for two years. I think the bleeding has just begun I still have to redo the injection, build a motor, and build the rear end $$$$$$$.
