Yes yes...... Here on the east coast it's tough to find patina, it's usually rot...

This car lived on the west coast so scuffing and painting was a common practice.

Was there a specific reason the lower water hoses came from Finland? It looks great, perfect "S" shape to it. Nice touch.

    Honestly......
Hoses and belts seem to be my pet peeve......I waste more money with the trial and error of cutting and throwing them away. Folks here gave part numbers to modern hoses that would fit once trimmed. I purchased one and it wasn't correct. Theres a fella right here on the HAMB that has specially designed and manufactured the correct lower hoses for the A V8 conversion. Nice hoses which are intentionally made a bit longer than needed....just in case you need some length. Unfortunately he's located in finland but like I said, it only took 5 days to get them and I honestly believe I saved money buying them, but most of all aggravation.

  24. I used a few cans of that Dynalite years ago. I guess I'm becoming vintage myself.

Pete, this picture alone should be an indication that you'll be able to run better on the sands this year. Can't wait to see your report card, be safe.

The inner firewall is curved so I had to make a quick bracket to mount it... Works good

  30. Looks good. That is an A pedal, correct? I like the numbering on there and the matching weathering. Ties in well!
