    Mike, This had an 82" wheelbase, it ran 11.41 @ 117 ! I had some scary moments, getting through 2nd gear, but it drove great on the top end. 2012-07-19 105532.jpg

    Instinctively knowing which direction the car is going improves when the driver is placed just ahead of the rear axle. example: Willie Borsh in his Wingfoot Express

    Garlits said more or less the same thing when he built the rear engine car.

    My avatar used to run 120 at mid 11s (mild 327/4 speed). But I guess I cheated, it had a 90" wb (well almost).

    Wheelbase is a little short for my taste but it is a good looking car, be a ride you would remember forever if you relaxed that left arm while cruising in it.
