That pale yellow roadster with the bobbed fenders is a legend around my parts It's been in the road for 50 years . I went to the Daytona race in 1987 we were coming home late that Sunday night that little roadster pass us on the interstate flying I was hooked. It's the car solely responsible for my car craziness .

Quite an amazing story behind that car as well.

 

I drove over yesterday morning and by the time I finished the swapmeet I was too beat to look at any cars. Did see a few while trudging back to my car. BTW, the swapmeet seems to be about twice the size of the one at the nats. Great pics Henry

This is my all time favorite Rod Run. Pre-48 Cars cheap entrance fee and fair food prices. Throw in the free t-shirt & goodie bag with pre-registration and the free Sunday morning breakfast all for $15.00. If only it wasn't so hot most of the time. This year must have been great with the fair weather. Thanks for getting me there with your pictures.

 

When I registered yesterday around 9 AM, I was 3353. So I'm not sure what the count was today.
Plus, I was driving the green '40 above.
