Any time you have more than one, one will turn it off after the first one turns it on. Murphy was an optimist.
Well it wasn't as easy as I thought........... hummmm we have torque............. Getting ready to do some investigation..... Hummm catch pan has trans fluid, not a good thing pan is primer color..... humm.......... time to pull this pig apart........... Humm this don't look right.............. Time for an upgrade......flex plate ain't too pretty either.......... Grrrrr
Carl. Owning a race car is a disease, their is no cure, and the only known treatment is very expensive. Parts failure grows exponentially with power produced. Sorry for your misfortune.
Damn, Carl, that converter should have floated off when you split the trans loose you balooned it so much! But seriously, sorry about the bad luck. The purple paint makes it look like a P.I. converter, was it? Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Well carl that sucks and I wish I didn't know how you feel lol just be glad it didn't come completely apart I would certainly check the entire Trans Real good to make sure it didn't tear anything else up its been said already racin breaks stuff lol more power more broken parts lol ask me how I know lol
If it will help, I take back the bad luck part. I hope that all you need is a convertor and a trans cleanup. Wish you well
Na not a PI, its a Flat-O, gonna get it beefed up though........... yea it may suck but that's racin, so on to the next step......... one step at a time just want to make sure I get er back for Eagle in oct and maybe a T&T before that to get carb right. sure felt good on that last run though Now if we can figure out that damn GoPro
Yea Tim but just wait till get er back together and spend some time tuning her!!!! knockin on 10's finally!!!!Wahooooo
Well at it again while we are down waiting for new flex plate...... wasn't really happy with belt alignment sooo made new shim for under blower and re did the brackets now really happy Tapered plate 1/4 x .085 ..........before finish holes However had shavings all over the shop..... damn I hate that.......
Well once again I want to give a Props to Gene Benson and Flat-O out of Salem Oregon sent him the parts repairs were made posthaste and back in my grimy little hands already, man that's service. Over the years Gene has been one stand up business owner and its wonderful to see that in this screwed up world of ours. Anyone needing flathead C4 parts should look him up.............
Well time to put er back together!! And she's back where she belongs...........a few more things to put on and we can fire er up tomorrow...... Had to make some weld nuts as I didn't want to buy them.........and the beat goes on
