Congratulations are in order for fellow HAMBer @bp1971 for taking home the Bill "Billy B" Burnham Memorial Award this weekend at the Goodguy's West Coast Nationals in Pleasanton, CA: As a long-time friend of Billy B (I sure miss him ), I can say without a doubt that the Burnham/Daviess families sure got this year's pick right! ... Billy would have simply dug @bp1971's roadster! My snapshots don't do the car justice ... but here's a few from earlier today:
NOTE: Here's the H.A.M.B. "build threads" for @bp1971's bitchin' little '29 Hiboy Roadster: bp1971 '29 roadster build bp1971's '29 roadster build (part 2)

Congratulations on winning the award. Bill was a hard core hot rodder that drove his 29 Ford (Old Blue) long and hard. He was a beanpole and always wearing that ever present cowboy hat. I absolutely loved reading Bills ramblings, old churn em,Burn em. HRP
It is truly an honor to have won this award. @hemi 32, it was nice meeting you. I hope that our paths cross again.
That sure is a nice build. And no one seemed to mind an OHV engine or coil-overs, either. Ain't life grand?
