Thought i would post a few pics of my battery box in my model a coupe: There seems to be an interest in how to mount up a battery in the trunk: In my search i read that some guys used tool boxes: Great idea: Thank you to who posted it: Mine is still under construction: The box came from harbor freight: Has the right height for an Optima 6v battery: The battery is offset so that i can get the cables up to the posts: I hope this might help someone who is searching for a suitable box: Thanks,SK

I searched around and found that this box had the right depth to be able to close and have enough head space for the optima battery. And the price was right. Now if I can only bring myself to drill holes in my new floor for the cables. I can't explain the one wacky hole I drilled off but i did learn to drill pilot holes so the roto brooch would not wander. Sk

OK: Here are a few more pics of the completed setup and one of the car: everything turns on, no shorts, no smoke, fuse did not blow, engine turns over and the disconnect switch works: still more work to do, paint, interior etc: sk
