Falcon back seat install question

    Working on the wife's 63 falcon 4door. How or what holds down the back seat to the floor? It's just sitting loose in there and slides around.

    From memory there are 2 x small tabs spot welded to the floor that capture the lower seat frame. Pull the seat frame back towards rear and tap the lower seat base just above the floor. It should release and pop up. Swap sides and job done? Some other manufacturers had small tabs that secured seat frame to floor only held by screws.

    My '62 Fairlane has the Tabs. If they're broken-off, you should see the ghosted area on the floor where they once attached. I just did the interior in a '51 Buick and simply put bolts through the floor to act as replacement stops.

    Ok thanks. I'll look this weekend and take some pics of what I have.
