So I did the all famous Google search looking for a picture that matched mine and did a search on here as well with no results. I just need a picture so I can have mine repainted to factory. Also I noticed I am missing a plate if anyone happens to know which one I would greatly appreciate your help. Tha k you in advance.
I think your body tags are like these. (See attached) the "oldcarmanualproject" has some info, but didn't anything for the year 1940. Maybe try the chevy truck forum (AD style)
The tag is different than what you posted. The only thing stamped on it is the type and serial number I can only make out a couple of the words that is on it
