Got all the plumbing and wiring for the airride finished today. Reconfigured some things while I was at it. I decided not to run the battery in the rear frame like previously pictured earlier in this thread. Going to mount it in the front somewhere. Getting close to starting this thing up! Finding the time lately is the hard part..

Well I decided to get another bed for the 63. The shortbed I bought was waaaaay to much work. I picked up a really nice long bed for 100 bucks, so I cut it down.
14inches from the front and 6 from the back.

Everything looks good. Just wondering why the 4 valve set up instead of a 8 valve ?

Thanks, I figured I'd go the simpler route and just run 4 valves. Two switches are easier to mess around with than four. Don't plan on doing side to side or playing around with it. I think a lot of guys just run 8 valve to fine tune the suspension and maybe get better handling due to air transfer from side to side when cornering. I never had and handling issues with just 4 valves.

Thanks for the compliments! I'm probably gonna ride in primer for now. Just going to tint the primer and two tone it the factory colors , off white and pale light blue.

Not much done lately. Kids are out of school so it's been busy. Did finish wiring on the dash and installed the gauges. The two switches to the far right are for the air bags. I'm going to put the factory black knobs on them so they will blend in with the rest. I picked up a set of wheel tubs from a buddy at work , they are 67-72 chevy but they work work just fine.

Welllll I'm back. Sorry for the no post situation the past few months, been so busy but still hammering away at this thing. The interior is pretty much finished. All wiring done and everything works as should. I found a donor seat from a 89 f150 that was in really awesome shape. Picked it up at the u pull it for 30 bucks. Covered it with some vintage looking material from a local fabric store.

Also finished the airride switches to look like a stock dash. Notice the "air" bezels.

Had my lovely wife help me install the windshield. After a few choice words and 30 minutes later she was in.

The truck is fully running now and moves under her own power! Pulled her last week for some sun. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1451007484.128460.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1451007508.407458.jpg

I was going to attempt to run the jag power rack like a manual rack but after driving it out of the shop I opted to go back power steering. I did find out that ford used a gm/Saginaw style pump on the vans from 82-93. So I went to the u pull it and snagged a pump and bracket off a 302 equipped van. Believe it or not the ford van p/s lines actually fit the jag rack.

I had a bunch of dead space between the cab and the rearend so I decided to put it to use and make a compartment to store tools , fire extinguisher and maybe a battery.
