At first glance I thought that was a shifter sticking through the roof, not a dinosaur head. Guess I've looked at too many Roth paintings over the years, LMAO.

Thanks, I ask because I saw an OT foreign car in that exact color and wanted to do mine similar. It's a very 50s feeling color.

So long as you are making a Sunbeam mixmaster custom called "Kermit".

  9. Were the Caddy caps and spotlights an older look for that car or is that what it looks like now? I love that car with the black steelies and caps

Yes Mo! Lincoln zephyr fenders stretched 10 inches to mimic a lincoln rear .When i bought the ute it had very bad rear quarters and was unable to find replacements,so i went looking for alternatives, perfect how the swage line matches the fords front fender that trim is ford on the rear fender. It took two attempts to get a set to Australia after the first set got lost in shipping!Luckily my car club mates found me another set while in the u.s and shipped em over! The rear bumper is made up of two ford bumpers lincoln overriders and wingtips with a chev crossbar! johnny, This car is a work in progress and may still get fadeaway fenders IMG_0796.JPG

Here are just a handful at the best looking taildraggers, when there was no air ride. These kustoms built from late 30's to mid 50's are the best looking ones. No slammed cars, and not every kustom had spider hubcaps, or tri bars like today.

A tail dragging custom with blackwall tires and a spare tire carrier on it yet, never in a thousand lifetimes would I think that'd be a good idea, yet there it is, and I gotta say, I like it. Well done, I like to be proven wrong sometimes.
