Not a close pic, but I think they work well.

Although I am a 51/52 Chevrolet fan, and a huge fan of the 56 Chevrolet, this is one combination that just ticks me off. Utter blasphemy of both cars, totally FUGLY, and even my wife agrees. Maybe IF the tail lights were't upside down..............................NO! I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

I think it looks good and not the typical approach.

Whatever you do, don't use Packard! Lol, there are too many choices that look great but some of the boys on here are correct. It would be awesome to see the stock lights!

'Mo recognized the lights but did not identify them ! They are '51 Frazer lenses also used by Frank Livingston on two of his fastbacks ! The also look good on the '51 - '52 !

    Good Luck,

I guess we can hand out the eye bleach for this one. 1999 Mercury Sable tail lights turned 90 degrees in re-shaped rear fenders...........not HAMB friendly but I am pretty damn happy with this look

This thread popped back up and I see that I never posted what I ended up doing myself. I didn't like the Kiazer's that I posted a couple pages back so and after buying about 10 different sets with no results I just made the dam things. View attachment 310258

^^^^ My buddy put those Corvette tail lamps on his '52 Chevy 2dr hard top back in 1960 when we were in high school. Dropped right in, looked great and are period correct for sure.

While photoshop is good to see what might look nice, cardboard mock-ups give you a more realistic approach as to what will fit.
A lot depends upon your metal shaping skills and how much the rear has to be re-worked, and your overall theme.

In customizing, simplicity or less is always more.

These are the tail lights my father installed in his 52 Coupe. Top assemblies from a 1978 Chrysler New Yorker.
