Has anyone put y block valve covers on a302 small block Ford? I'm gonna make adaptor plates but not sure where to put breathers or pic. There are no holes in y block valve covers. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

Why would you want to try to fool people into thinking you have a Y block?

Man, don't be a poser. Just get some nice old Cal Custom or Moon finned covers and call it good.

^^ I tend to agree, but what really gets me is putting covers from one car make on another engine. Valve covers (if you gotta have 'em :)) are the visual signature of the engineering and performance that goes on underneath. If you can't be proud of what you're running, run something else.

And you really need to stop posting multiple threads on the same subject.

Thanks for starting this thread. I wouldn't have searched the HAMB for putting y-block covers on sbf heads if you hadn't because I hadn't thought of it or seen it. Now that I have the idea in my head, I can easily search for all the other threads.

I have a set of plain y-block covers (not Thunderbird) that i may do this with. Thanks for giving me food for thought.
