Hey guys I just last week picked up a pair of original bumpers for these
year fords. They were re chromed in 1989 and never picked up from the
chrome shop. I got them from the fellow that owned the shop back then
I think they were really well done. The rear has the Ford logo in the center
They are heavy gauge metal, and very straight. I thought about using
them on my 40, but mine are fine. I will post them in the HAMB
parts after my detail person cleans them up (my son) They are dusty
and I don't want to scratch them up. He will shine them up and then
post some photos for me. The areas that were not dusty are nice and shiny
watch for them next week if anyone may be interested.

  4. This one is for sale in the classifieds. Sorry for the spam, but I'm helping my friends widow sell it.

I made a few changes from my earlier post on this thread. Removed the visor, skirts, and moved my license plateto the bumper.

My recent purchase, some minor mods will see it looking more traditional style....

My 47 just prior to getting VIN verified at the CHP back in April.
Sorry about the non-hamb friendly GM rim up front.

Replaced all of my front end components after the previous owner heated the shocks and dropped them way to far. Rims and tires rubbed just rolling. After replacing coil springs shocks bushings tie rods and ball joints. They still rubbed a little when turning so I had to pull them and my 14" El Camino ralley rims for now. At least now I can fit a floor jack underneath it. Before it took 2 people. One to lift up the front end as much as possible then slide it under now I just roll it under. I don't really like the El Camino rims but I like the stance it has with "14s and lower profile tires. I want to go to more of a 50s hot rod look so I will probably go with Chrome reverses or red reverse and maybe stick with wide whites or out spider caps on them.

Had to replace my wide whites and mags
