pinkee's is the only vendor for these. they are a sectioned new rail. and just like anything coming from the crew at pinkee's the quality is spot on. my new car will be sporting those rails.

Eric talked to me about doing them but they were so labor intensive that to produce them for resale by a third party would have made them cost prohibiitive. He at one time told me a price but I don't want to quote as that may have changed. They are nice.

I think a perimeter boxed frame is around $3500.

the Pinkees sectioned 1932 ford frame for model As would look awesome under 1926 and 1927 ford roadsters. to me the height of the sectioned frame rail is in better proportion to the height of the 26 27 ford roadster body than the stock 32 frame rails. I wish Pinkees would make a version of this frame for the 26 27 ford roadsters.

I bet it would cost considerable more than one off the shelf

This is a way old thread but since it was brought up here's the first car (if I'm not mistaken) to sport their sectioned 32 rails. This picture was taken a year or two after Eric sold it.

I never said I wanted to buy one. I just want to see what they would look like . what is it with some of the people on the hamb. it seems some people can not pass up a chance to come off as a smart ass or just plain be rude

Pinkees will build you a 'custom' frame, that's one of their specialties! If there is more work/time involved in building a frame to fit the '26/'27 Roadster, I imagine it would cost a little more that the Model A version. Eric is just a phone call away to find out. Great guy.

I ended up making a set of these rails for myself. Super labor intensive but they look cool.
