Went to Greer for the Southeast Gasser race yesterday.
It was a good time.
Ethan didn't get to go with me as he had a basketball camp

Got to see the Quick and Dirty gasser and the Southern Flyer gasser man these guys have came a long way quick with their projects.
Thanks to Quain for putting me in a good spot we really enjoyed our day

That black '54 Chevy was gorgeous in its' simplicity and mild chop. My favorites were the blue Willis restorod and the black '40 Ford and the Chevy. The gassers were great and the weather amazing. Can't wait for Steel in Motion.

well enloe, im ready for bowling green but the machine shop is killing me,im building a new bullet for my car, 383 stroker, and its gonna be close time wise....ill be there regardless, hope to see that vette this time......

 

we hope the Vette will be ready. we are going to have plan B ready. The heater core in the wagon needs fixed and the window regulators need fixed.

 

Well more proof that I am corrupting my son. Last week we put Two Lane Blacktop in the DVD player. Then on the mornings that I take them to school after they get ready we watch 10 or 15 minutes of it.

This morning we got to see where Warren Oats got in the 55 and they raced the Judge. Ethan said I like the GTO but I like the 55 even better.

I WAS SO PROUD it kind of brings a little tear to my eye

 

Well got my tickets for Bowling Green in the mail yesterday. I need to get on the ball as EVERYTHING I OWN except my daily needs fixed

 

Well I got froggy last night and went out to the garage and took out the old battery tray and put a new one in. man that was a pain in the ass.

Went and got my old Shovelhead from my buddies house yesterday. He did a little work on the trans. We stopped to get supper at a Mexican restaurant. when I came out it wouldn't start. it needs a new battery. We went home and got some cables and Ethan changed into some pants and shoes. we went back and got it jumped off and went home.

That was Ethan's 1st ride in a lot of years. He said it was scary but awesome.
