HELP, I'm looking for a 51 Victoria roof within reasonable driving distance of Detroit. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks Guys.

  5. Dang, there's a '53 roof in the classifieds right now, but it's in Oklahoma... and it's a '53. I'll keep my ears open.

I plan on making a removable HT in addition to a Carson style top.

I think thats a good plan, but i think it could be really cool to see a chopped rag top on your car.

I am going to get this top on so I can make the trip to see David Martinez for the padded top. The plan is to drive to Austin for next years roundup and then over to CA.

I'll keep my peepers peeled as well for a top but that might just be a tall order. Don't know that there are a whole lot of 51 Hardtops floating around.

Unless I'm readin this wrong, I think he means he needs a hard top.

Well a deal has been struck and I will be driving to Wisconsin in two weeks to pick up my new Victoria top. I'm really exited to build this lift off HT and give it a great gold/bronze paint job.

Getting harder and harder. I bought one a few years ago but it turned out to be so rusty that I threw it away. I don't do that too often so it was pretty bad.

Good for you on the top. You found one faster than I thought you would.

So what's the plan...will you retain a wrap-around rear window?

  27. That was quick. Nice score.

Whereabouts in WI? I've done the drive lots of times. You'll see signs for the Stray Dog in New Buffalo MI, right before you cross into Indiana. It's a good place to stop for a meal.
