Thanks man! Your roadster sounded and looked great at TROG.
Since I had my T at TROG last year, in trying to get this 32 done in time to be accepted to take this year.

Couple of dash mock up pics. It was cold out in the shop today.

I haven't found any good early fuel and temp gauges that I like so I'm using SW wings for the time being. I'm using a temp gauge for each head.

I really like my wood grained dash.

  3. That's lookin' awesome, Tim! I hope winter scoots away quickly for you up there, 'cause I'm anxious to see it done!

(BTW, it was in the upper 70's today in PHX...just saying'...)

Made some taillight brackets today. I don't really care for original '32 taillight brackets on fenderless coupes. So I modified a set from a 35 ford. I will paint the brackets black.

    You get the idea.

    Also mounted the front shocks.

And started working on my rusty grill shell.

The lower panel is full of holes and pits. I managed to weld up the holes on one side but will need to patch the other.

And a shot of the chassis

It is tough , but I need this done for the HotRod Hill Climb and TROG. I have to keep plugging a way. It was 26 degrees in the shop when I started working Saturday, the heater got it up to 42 by the time i quit.

Thanks! The hill climb is a great event. Had a blast buzzing up the mountain.

I'm not too far out of the path on your way to bonneville if you need to stretch for a bit or need help with anything.

I got this one from Pikes Peak Motor Co. I got a good deal on it because one of the gage holes was enlarged for a 2-1/8" gage. I enlarged the other hole and I'm good to go.

  12. Looking good Tim...Keep pushing forward with it and it will warm up some day..I hope.

Chassis is ready for the engine and body. Brakes are bled and ready. Shocks on all four corners are on.
Engine should be back from the machine shop next week and ready for me to assemble. My 15/29 tooth trans is ready.

Worked on the grill shell again today. Made a patch for the corner I cut out.
It's got some pits but epoxy primer and high build primer should fill it in nicely. Better than a new one.

Finally got all the pieces and parts to re-assemble the engine. Freshened up the rotating assembly, new valve train , Winfield 1A cam. Should be okay, but not near the engine my T has.
Engine is mostly assembled and adjusting the valves now.

  19. Cool, Tim! Looks like ports got a good polish, too. How long before it's wheelin' through the City of Fountains?

  20. Just found this thread from the other thread of when it was found by the previous owner. I have to say this old coupe couldn't have found a better home! You have done a fantastic job of bringing it back from the dead and to see the way your whole family is involved shows us all "what its all about". One question, are you still in the hunt for the other 5W you were trying buy? Keep after it, you can't have enough Deuces!

I want to share one picture of my son Sam helping me lower the body on the frame. If you have looked at the entire thread you will recognize him from other pictures. He is a good helper for a 6 yr old. I trusted him to lower one side while I did the other. I only checked on him a couple times. Haha!
