I am working on a 1928-31 frame. I will be placing my 239 flathead w C-4 trans, on my chassis. I want to keep the integrity of the motor with the original fan. Does anyone know where I need to mount the flathead motor mounts on this frame?

I am using a vega box and I am thinking that the motor mounts will have be placed behind it due to the front end that I will be using.

I am thinking that I need to keep the fan distance of at least 2-1/2" to 3" from the radiator which would place my motor mounts about 9" to 10" from the front cross member.

I know that some one with experience has done this. But?.....

    Thanks, you guys.
