You guys tuned me into The Ford Barn when I picked up the 21 Model TT and they were a great resource. I've sold that and picked up this 1926 Chevy. I'd like to find a resource as good as that one for this car. I plan on keeping this one and would like to find somewhere that can help me along. Thanks for any thing you can offer I also got this really cool wagon. Not sure how old but there are pictures of the owners son in it when he was 5 and he is now 52.
The HAMB! Best forum ever! Look up the early bowtie thread. Or this: http://forums.aaca.org The ain't big on hot rods, but they know there stuff. Anything you want to know? What are your plans?
Thanks, I don't plan on hot rodding it. It is just a super nice example of one of these. I plan to straighten it out and drive and enjoy it. It was fully restored 20 years or so ago and kept in a garage until today. It has over sized pistons, an electric fuel pump and a big mechanical fan. Other than that it is all stock. I'll post some interior shots and engine shots tonight. I will join that other forum and find the early Bowtie thread here. Thanks.
The Filling Station site has an online catalogue and newsletter with excellent how tos and a very nice print catalogue. Their store in Lebanon, Oregon is a great place to visit.
While this is not a site devoted to stock Chevys it is about old Chevys and there are many links to other sites and parts suppliers. http://rustybowtie.com/index.php
