Time for a new Project thread.
Traded a 54 Chevy 2door post for this 1940 Chrysler Windsor.
Always wanted a late 30s early 40s coupe.

The goal with this one is a mild custom and a good driver.

This is what i started with.
A solid car with a really good body, original engine is long gone and a later 318/727 combo took its Place.

There were alot of stuff that needed attention but you know how it is, first thing to do is to lower the front ;)

Nex thing on the list was to scrap the ugly smoothie Wheels with radials and get some steel Wheels and White walls.
    Got me some 6,70-15 Firestones.

The original dash is kinda ugly (not mine on the first pic).
Mine was also hacked up and hade some modern autometer guages badly installed. Someone also added some bling-bling chrome tape to make it even worse.[IMG]

Lets cut it all out and make something new.
Filled the hole dash for a start.

Then i added a 54 Chevy guage cluster i had, sadly im missing a speedometer.
Also note the nice "new" 12v system.....
