Wow, just think pages of period correct, actual real - back in the day rods n mods and no shitty fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror like today. " …. and I told the seller I would gladly pay $ 1000 extra over his asking price if he would just deliver the car without the tummy button fuzzy's…"

Some great images posted in the last day or so - many thanks to those who take the time to feed our habit.

I thought about this picture for years, how did they accomplish it? Why didn't those pipes just collapse within them selves? I have questions, I need answers...

You hear a lot about Linda. What ever happened to the other two smoking hot chicks she was always working with and who are they?

The question is why don't they blow holes from high exhaust pressure? The answer is they get hot enough to glow not melt.I have seen manifolds and headers glow like this when breaking in cams at night.

I feel the same way about dummy spots.
While I'm no fan of fuzzy dice, they must have been popular at some point. My mom sewed up a pair made from angora for my dad before he went to Korea in '53. He was 17, you can barely see them hanging from the mirror in the shot where he's removing the lake plugs. I still have the damn things.

    This is a fantastic thread!
