Great story and the smiles on Gene and Barb's faces is priceless.
May they cruise in it together for many years to come.

  6. Hey Bill, it's a little sad to see the car leave South Dakota which seams to happen a lot here I know of about ten different cars that have been pick out of SD, but it sounds like it will have a good home and will stay the way it was. History has it way of changing things and it sound like this history will retain itself. Hope you have fun with the car and keep it. Thanks for saving it, it could have found itself in the wrong hands and been lost for ever.

I kinda jumped the gun and didn't read the whole thread but it is totally awesome that the car found it's Father and mother after all this time. Very cool story and the HAMB"S made a lot of it happen, i love this Place so much help for us guys who love the Car world.

Wow! The car looks great! Hats off to Gene and the missus for bringing the car back to its full glory. This is one of the reasons I really appreciate the HAMB.
