This is a one owner, other than myself, CA black plate survivor Sprint recently removed from a 34 year hibernation in a CA garage. This car is completely original with its' factory 260/4-speed combination, factory paint and interior. It is a rust free example of the So-Cal dry climate and needs no metalwork whatsoever, I personally would drive it as-is. To bring it back to life much work was done here in NY some of which entailed; complete front suspension rebuild(ball joints, bushings, tie-rods, idler, shocks, bearings and seals), rear suspension rebuild(reline springs, bushings, shocks, bearings and seals), complete brake rebuild(master, 4-wheel cylinders, shoes), engine awakening(water pump, hoses, regulator, ex. gaskets, etc.), four new radial tires in the correct size, battery and box, muffler, all fluids and quite a bit more. The car starts, runs and stops as new and the only things I have found lacking are; headliner stitches coming loose and a non-functioning AM radio. Note: before being driven the Sprint will need a complete front end alignment, the friendly NE winter has and will prevent that for some time it appears. I have for this car the original window sticker, original sales invoice showing the Sprint option, original owners manual and various receipts, all in the name of the original owner. The price is firm but I will consider a trade for a clean traditional A-V8 roadster preferably on a 32 frame. I have quite a few photos around and under the car that I can email to a serious buyer. As always, no test pilots. Thanks
Interested in taking a clean, traditional hot rod in trade. Prefer three pedals and no fiberglass. Thanks
Always looking for traditional hot rods, pre-1971 Triumph motorcycles, vintage race cars and aircraft.
Will consider interesting and cool trade-in. No boats, bikes(pre-1970 Triumph excepted) or rats please.
