What is the best and most affordable way of fitting the T5 to a 1951 ford flathead V8?

Here is the go to thread on it. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/tech-ultimate-t-5-article.171291/
On mine I am using an adapter from Dwight Bond

The adapter on it now is for a Jeep trans

I think I sent Dwight a money order for about 185 for the adapter, clutch shaft extension and pilot bushing.

There are a number of ways to do it depending on what you have to work with to begin with.

Ok, so is Dwight still doing these sandwich plates? Maybe I haven't searched hard enough.

Same question, thought he quit making them some time ago. A good source of information and parts is Cornhuskers.
