Outrageous. In a good way. Lots of tasty stuff on that car. And yes, the deck lid does kill. Congrats.

VERY Nice Man, if my ''A'' was gonna turn out like your's I would have kept it!The stance, the motor, the paint and trim all add up to one of the nicest '28/'29's I've ever seen.

    It's a 9" out of a 57 Ranchero.

Thank you all for the nice things you've said. Here are some updated pics to show y'all where it's at. Last two pics include Eric Anderson's awesome T and Brian Auderers Sweet Lil Jewel.

  5. I remember watching your build and thinking, yeah, this is pretty cool.
But now that it is a finished car in the Austin crowd, it is so bad ass!!!

Thank you guys. It has been a crazy road. I ended up moving to Dallas recently which has worked out amazing, though I miss all my Austin peeps!

so your running a 57 ranchero 9" which should measure in at 57.25" wide... did you have to run wheel spacers to get the tyres to clear the body?

Yes, with stock wheels. I was going to run reversed rears which may have worked but didn't work for my wheelcovers. Spacers it was. I upholstered the face of them so they fit the theme.

Since having my daughter, I don't get to take him out as much. Did visit the THEM! Invasion in September and they were nice enough to give me Best Engine, which was such a rad trophy. Thanks Guys!

what width wheel spacers did you use mate? im trying to work out what width rear end to use in my 30 coupe. i have a 58" wide diff out of a granada, will be swapping it for a 58" bronco diff to get the larger stud pattern. 16x4.5 wheels with 16-7.00 tyres. hoping i wont need spacers. only problem is the wheels are on order so i cant mock anything up yet

how mcu space do you have from tyre to the body?

Pretty sure I used 1.25" spacers. I have about a 1" clearance from tire to body. Tires are 750-16. :)
