When I was 16 which was 1963 you had to have red rims if you had white walls. I had this set up on my 54 Ford then and this is what is on my 54 Ford today, not the same car. 20141207_135645.jpeg 20141207_135645.jpeg 3240955838070 (1).jpg

Some of my buddies are having problems with them running smooth. They seem to be out of round. How are yours? We drive em.

I don't care how it drives as long as it looks cool. But it does drive great

  9. They don't fit cause they hit the centre on the rim cause the cap dishes in and the rim curves out.

Nice to see the 57 Lincoln caps getting a little respect

Really have to agree with you there. It's taken me about 4 years of going to swapmeets and combing ebay to find some vintage 16" aftermarket hubcaps. I finally found a set of Lyons 16" and a set of 16" flipper hubcaps that fit on like regular hubcaps. I was going for a late 50's look on my coue and wanted the full wheel covers.

I really liked this plain Jane Deuce four door that I saw in the swap meet at The LARS this year. I think they may be Merc caps with a trim ring that covers the rest of the wheel? Anyway, they have the look of full wheel covers. The wheels are painted gold.
