A friend just picked this up along with a couple of fatheads and transmissions. It is an Offenhauser intake but we don't know what it fits or what it's worth. Anyone know the answers? Thanks.
if you take a picture of the other side, so we can see what engines it might fit, you might get a useful answer.
Well I was going to say, ME, but I guess we're a bigger group that I originally thought. It would be a little easier to tell if we could see both sides of the intake but I want to say that its for an inline 6, like a 235 chevy or the like.
^^^^^^^^ Thats what I was thinking too. My father had a two into one that mounted to a stock flathead intake but I have never seen a three into one.
Looks like a Chevy 235/261 or 216 Offenhauser intake. You can still buy them brand new from several places. The mix-matched carbs look to be Rochester Model B (standard 216/235 carbs) and the middle one is a Carter W-1, and common earlier 216 carb
If you look on the right hand side of the photo you can just barely make the runner out, that bottom bolt on thingy is for the heat riser.
I'm glad some of you enjoyed my typo. Thank you for those who tried to help. Turns out it is a Offenhauser triple intake for a 37-52 Chevrolet in line 6
.........................................We were just having a little fun with you. Glad you found out what it was.
It will fit any 216, 235 or 261 head. It is an original Offy intake, as it doesn't have the bungs for mounting the oil filter canister like the new repops do.
Yep that's right. There are rings made for the difference in size. Buffalo rings? Langdons may have them.
