Hi all, newbie to this great website which is full of great knowledge by articles and peoples know how.
i just brought myself a 49 pontiac 2dr fisher body fastback, original rhd and hasnt been on the road for about 30 yrs at least, i have the original number plates when rego in 1949.

I take a grain of salt with the story about the car until i can make it final thats its true......
The car was owned by a traveling boxer in the 50s -60s and when he died the family torn the interior apart to find his hidden money, thats why i dont have any interior in the car.
Im in the progress of speaking to a few people and boxers from that era.

At this stage the chassis and body are seperate and im working ona chassis build up, then ill start the body.
Im always after any bit for my car so if anyone knows any parts for 49-53 let me know please.
Cheers and speak to you all soon.

Very very slow progress as I have been flat out at work.
Also finished Resto on my Wayne 605 double bowser/jukebox(too many projects)
Put the body on the chassis so I can work out the engine/trans location and also working on the height of car for the airbag setup.
Waiting on power steering box to arrive aswell.
Here somes pic of the car at the moment at the lowest point.
