Here's one of the variants on my better beater, it's basically a taupe color rather than what most think of grey. But, like most colors, it depends on the light, sometimes the grey tone is more pronounced.
Ford Dove grey. It's actually very, very close to the Ford grey tractor color and is actually a bit darker that it appears in the pics. Jim
It doesnt, thats the point, thats my same color choice opinion I gave in his "tan" thread. Just havin a little fun with the sarcasm, Its not as funny if you dont get it I guess... Not that Im against tans or grays, I just like the burgundy/maroon color idea better on his car, ....just a suggestion.
I recently painted my O/T car in a dove grey called Fiat Grigio Jet - thinking of using it for my 27T Modified; I brush-painted the running gear in a grey Tekaloid called Raddle - that's a possible colour too;
Just finished painting my coupe. Grey with a touch of green, gets darker when in the shade. Paint is a satin finish urethane. Car has moved to Saskatoon Sask and haven't heard anything about it since. Dark red interior was added. If you have seen or heard about it let me know, kind of curious. Canuck
Low budget, I'm with you, maroon. OP hasn't chimed in with what kind of paint he wants to shoot, I was thinking manufacture factory pack colors. Oh well, It's turned into a great pic thread.
Not exactly what I was thinking but I will give you your first "like" for the encouragement Something in a style like this (wheels and tires)maybe in a 40 ford mandarin maroon or other classic burgundy/maroon with black top, even without the chop would flip my trigger
I was just asked what this body was - so thought I'd post the answer for all to see... '34 Studebaker... 012314 GNRS 268 by SoCalCarCulture, on Flickr 012314 GNRS 267 by SoCalCarCulture, on Flickr
