I do believe it's a 1940 Pontiac hearse. And my first pic today is a 38 BUICK with the Reo...the hubcaps are DeSoto.

 

No....Reo and Buick...NOT DeSoto.

Where I live in the south east corner it is pretty dry, and has resulted in decent tin here and there prime for building!

 

My dad bought this one earlier this summer from a friends mother n law, her husband parked it there many moons ago. Now that the ticks are gone it's time to extract the old 36 from the weeds.

 

I bought this from a friend & local car hoarder last year. Chopped in the late 50s. found it 5 "pastures" back in the woods of southeast Missouri along with lots of early 50s COE's & Macks! I was making my annual visit to try n buy their great aunts 37 chevy coupe, yes in a barn! I let this on go on to a loving home & made a new friend who's mesmerized by the old old chop n channel job before it was wrecked in early 60s! I'm the only one to buy anything from the place in eons! They ran my favorite salvage yard as a kid and took all the good stuff home with them .
