Thank for the words of incouragement. After 5 weekends I finally have car back on ground. Had to repair some 4 link issues and made mounts for the skirts while it was up on stands. Next is some ems rockers to replace the shoddy clip ons. Then back to body work. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1389038205.819235.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1389038217.123755.jpg

    This car is killer.

You really have a good eye for what modifications improve the look of a car.
Not just custom work for the sake of change.

That Cadillac grille is BITCHIN, and the quarters are beautiful.

    Carry on, brother.

    Looks great, don't chop it.
Can't understand that the first thing some blokes want to do to a car is 'chop it". definitely not needed on this cool car. IMO. Please no shit about " its his car ........."

Nicely done! The quarters look great, and the grille is a refreshing change. It's turning out to be a real neat little coupe!

Best of luck continuing on, Cliff!

still looks fantastic and great to see an update. Custom touches that don't look like someone took to the car with a grinder are the best kind for sure.

Ever thought about running some simple side trim to break up the rear quarters? (particularly if you're are running the skirts)

Notice neither of these aren chopped, hint, hint

Thanks again everybody. I actually have 54 dodge trim for it. I'm not sure if I'm going to use that or something that resembles stock. Thanks for selling me those quarters pinstriper40.

I think a simple straight spear would do wonders.

Haven't posted in a while. Thanks for the words of encouragement. Ended up replacing the rockers with oem metal instead of clip ons, among other things. Put it all back together just before Woodward. Hadn't driven it for 18 months. Now winters coming on so back to work soon enough, getting that front end ready for caddy grille. 30. Looking good, and glad to hear you're still moving forward.

How did you mount your skirts? I'm not really thrilled with the way mine mount, looking at options.

If you decide not to run that '54 Dodge trim and want to sell it let me know. I've been looking for some for a long time.
