Thanks again Mark. On the 57 Ford, the windows were just down. I am sure the 24-70 will be a very valuable addition to your photo kit. One of the other reasons I also get down low to shoot is because that way the car itself is blocking a lot of the clutter in the background.

My ride for the cruise - Jim Ireland's 40 coupe. Just like last year riding with Jim, I had a blast.

Thanks G Don and you're welcome. There are still a lot more from all the different parts of the event, - Fells Point, the cruise to Havre de Grace, the low light photo session and the show itself. It just takes me a while to work them up and of course my full time job and life have to get mixed in as well.

I photographed this 34-35(?) Chevy sedan a number of times but never saw the tag on it.

Hi Dan I'm sorry it's taken me so long to respond to the picture of my car, that you included in your coverage. It's always a honor to have you include it. You are the master at getting the light and color just right.... If only my car looked that good setting in my garage. Thanks Bruce

Dan, your work is truly amazing! The black and white pictures are simply awesome and the color shots reallly pop. Thank you so much for posting shots of my ’50 Merc. It was a pleasure meeting you and an honor having you photograph the car on it’s maiden voyage!

Thanks Bruce - not a problem - I'm just glad you found it and got to see it.

Thank you, too, Eliot for your favorable comments Eliot. It was my pleasure as well. I still have more images of your car coming, so please check back in the next few days or so. I am sorry this is going so slow, but there are still quite a few more images of everybody's cars to do and post..

Here is a pic of the very interesting flathead in the cool 27 T roadster seen in posts 69,72 and 101. Anyone know what kind of carburetors those are?

  28. Hi Dan, these could be Weber downdraft carbies as Carroll Shelby used of many of his cars or the Delotto equivalent.
