Are the pics lost forever because of the new Hamb? Too bad this is one of my favorite build threads for ideas

 

This is why I've always tried to encourage everyone to post/host their pictures here. I believe all photos that were uploaded to this site have remained intact, but photo hosting site links are still broken.

 

@daddio211 the old Hamb hosted album links are still not working either. Ryan is working on relinking those too. I always hosted my pics on the Hamb, it is/was way easier than a third party. But since the switch to the new format, alot of old threads are now missing pics (I have a whole build thread with dead links now). Hopefully they can fix it, instead of having to relink/reload each picture manually

 

Mine are alright but need a little manual manipulation. All the photos are still in the post, but show below as thumbnails. Check my wife's T build thread in my signature. I fixed the second entry and will have to fix the rest later, but they're a piece of cake to fix because the links are still accurate, just the way the new code reads it needs a quick manipulation.

I can't see that this would be an easy task for Ryan to take on, as writing one code to fix all of the "errors" would help but then break others. I don't envy him.

 

Is it just my IPhone or did we lose 90% of the pics

That is correct, and why it's the best way to go.

The key is to not use an album. I never loaded an album and always posted my pictures as Eric said here on the Hamb forum. All of the pictures on my build thread are there as they should be even after the move.

 

Yep, even after several HAMB overhauls.

Sorry, not gonna make Sac this year. I have too much going on in the shop to make all the shows. Really didn't have time for GNRS but the wheels were already in motion. Next year maybe. Until then just watch the hiways, I'll be out there driving her.

 

Great time at GNRS! Met a lot of cool kids and even took home the "Pandraggers Pick"! It's a major award!


Also had the Uni "Jake" there too. Good times!

Sorry I didn't see this question earlier, Yes. Of course I have the T Roadster going on, the link for it is in my signature. It's a bit rough but a whole lot of fun. Watch for updates as I will be swapping in a new body with fenders and running boards. Decided I wanted it a little nicer.
