Projects 49 merc rear bumper options

anybody here use something besides a 49/50 merc rear bumper on a 49/50 merc? Do you have pics?

Back in the day, one choice was 1949 Plymouth 3 ribbed bumpers.

Thanks The plymouth bumper is definately one option.Seems many things are tried on the 51 mers but the 49/50 is a little tougher to improve upon over a stock bumper.

 

Why not 49 Merc with a 55 Pontiac override like mine.

 

I always like the '53 Pontiacs on the Bettancourt Merc.



I would like to find some stock ones somewhere in Canada.

Yes , I love the stock bumper,,,but what if there is one I love more?

 

What about the 49-50 Baby Lincoln rear bumper?

 

Yes , a baby Lincoln bumper with a custom over rider would be very cool.
