In 1929 was starting production, in UK, of a superb sport car, the Alta. With a 1.100cc supercharged engine et 76 HP, it was enough to become quickly a racing car star.
Check on Ebay before it goes...

Looks like you could take the extra rear wheels off and just make a trike out of it.

I would love to see the rest of the car Mr. Martel is driving! 10649924_10203792643448519_1240247541493830454_n.jpg

So would I. It does not need the flag on the screen post to identify it as a classic French skiff. Labourdette were the masters of the type.

Little coupés, you see ... :)

  27. Yes - it is. They look like they are all front arms and the motorcycle wheels are mounted in the driveshaft opening somehow.

Cool, but not even close to a cyclecar. I saw one of the survivors at the Lane Motor Museum this summer. This is how their website describes the Davis: "The Divan, at 15½ feet long, is a massive vehicle by 3-wheeled standards." Think three-wheeled Henry J (whose engine it shared), and you are not far off.

In European terms it would be a "D-segment large car", comparable in size to the current BMW 3-series, Mercedes-Benz C-class, Ford Mondeo, etc.
