My neighbor picked these up last week. They are made of stainless steel. The edges and center are polished. The main body a brushed finish. They cover a 16" wheel completely and look to be screw mounted.

Appear to be a pair of "Lyon crafted racing discs." Lyon was a manufacturer of aftermarket hub caps in the fifties, those may be meant to resemble the aluminum Moon discs.

I've seen Lyon hubcaps, Lyon wheel covers, and Lyon spoke covers. I've never seen these before.
I know Lyon made OEM wheel covers in the 50's for several Detroit manufacturers, and a large variety of aftermarket ones. I've never seen these advertised anywhere. I'd be interested knowing how old they might be and if anyone has seen or used them.
