57 years old and grew up in LA. hot rods and choppers and surfers were all around me as kid in the 50s and teenager in the 60s and I never tried to escape. I no longer live in LA but it's not the same world I grew up in anyway. There was no better place to be a teenager or better time to do it. People today are still copying and trying to recreate what we did back then. I'm proud to be able to say I was there.
