Yankee Dave

Grew up in/ around a garage - dad was a greaser in the day and a mechanic. As a kid I remember him working on the neighbors Supercharged Grahmn, B-model Macks, flathead 6 powered cranes, and anything else old and broken. At a young age I saw Earth Angel II and had to have a flathead roadster. Saw Dick Lewis 32 a little later and there was no stopping me then. Went to trade school - dad told me don't be a mechanic - Toolmaking went to China and India - I didn't and well went to wrenching. Spent 4 years at Posies leaving flathead oil stains on the street out front - LOL! and really honed my skills. Spent 8 years in NYC power-plants diagnosing problems and getting parts for equipment that is damn near as old as what we drive - LOL! Im back in PA building turbines and wondering around the globe repairing them. Driving the wheels off my roadster and trying to wear out its second flatty.
